Had the Beta vehicle, so much fun has everything you need. Matt was also very helpful to me on the phone helping me adjust my booking. Would 100% recommend.

We rented a Spaceship campervan Toyota Estima for a month while travelling around Australia and had a really great experience! We chose the full insurance option so we could enjoy the trip without any worries, and everything went really smoothly. We contacted the support team a few times during our trip and they always replied within a few minutes. Really friendly and helpful service! The only downside is that our month went by way too quickly! 😀 We’d definitely be happy to come back and rent from you again next time!

(4.75 STARS, Google is not good at halves) We rented a Spaceship to use on a trip down the Great Ocean Road. I would highly recommend! We got loads more than we were expecting for their budget van, pick-up, and drop off were easily instructed, and any time we had questions, we received friendly advice, and help! The only recommendation we have is to maybe update the curtains, as they weren’t entirely private, and some of the poppers were broken. If you have a road-trip in mind, this is a really good company to use. Many thanks again, Irys and Dylan :))

Spaceships rental suprised me . The vehicle i rented (named HIPPIE) was very comfortable driving long distance on highways, decent fuel economy, comfortable sleeping area, everything supplied (cutlery/bedding). Pick up and drop off was effortless. The only negative thing i can say is to use maps/gps on your device as they dont have satnav/maps as standard in the vehicles, its an extra cost . Absolutely fantastic value if you stick to highways, i will be cruising in a Spaceship in future!

Booked a campervan with Shaun and the team!! Was an amazing experience got to see Agnes water and other places I’d usually skip! Would recommend 🤝

Great experience! The car was in good condition and the service was excellent. Special thanks to Matt — he was super friendly, helpful, and made everything easy. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had a great time travelling the east coast

Overall very impressed with these little campers. We had an alpha named Cyberman. I was pessimistic booking this very cost effective option due to the size, but they're ample for the job. Our travel from Cairns to Sydney over 16 days was great. Both depots very good. Fuel economy ok. Aircon functional, as was cruise control. And the kit provided is enough to get you by (basic condiments + tea and coffee would be a great additions in future!) We even extended the drive midway through which was easily done over the phone. Only issues experienced was that the rear number plate fell off, washer fluid hose come loose under the bonnet and that a brake caliper was binding occasionally. Would definitely book again if we do another trip.

Cordiales saludos

We spent 15 days on a road trip with Spaceships, travelling from Sydney to Brisbane, and everything went perfectly from start to finish. Communication was easy and the team was very helpful. We had a small issue with our original vehicle on the first day, but they quickly sorted it out and upgraded us without any hassle, which we really appreciated. Returning the camper was also very easy and straightforward. We felt well looked after throughout our trip and would definitely recommend Spaceships to anyone looking to explore Australia. You can trust them. We are extremely happy with our experience and had an amazing road trip!

Wonderful. Everything was easy.

We had the best experience in the spaceship. Very affordable, lots of storage space and very comfortable to live out of. Matt and everyone at cairns were so helpful and kind.

We rented the spaceship for 3 weeks from Sydney to Cairns. Had absolutely no issues. The car ran great and the car was very spacious. All kitchen equipment was provided, and bedding was also provided. Great company and great service. Matt at the office in Cairns was great to deal with. Thank you!

Rented our camper from Spaceships Cairns and had the best experience! Matt was an absolute legend — super chill, super helpful, and really took his time to explain everything. The van was clean, comfy, and had everything we needed. Drop-off was quick and easy too. If you’re renting a camper in Cairns, definitely go with these guys. 👌👌

We loved it! Everything worked so well: from the easy pick-up to the fast return at the end. Would 100% recommend it!

Staff at rental were great- Tracey in particular who was lovely helping us out when we dropped our van off- even giving us a lift to the airport!! Van itself was great and had no issues and was fuel efficient- only feedback we would give is that the radio system needs an update- was very dated compared to other rentals we have had and music didn’t work above a very low volume. Also the out of hours pick up and drop off could be better communicated as ourself and a few others who were there at the same time as us found it confusing!

Excellent service would highly recommend friendly service spoke with Matt great guy. Car doesn't skip a bear and very comfortable drive

It's actually a really perfect, cheap and very convenient rental service and matt over the counter was great and good to talk too, would definitely recommend

Wr had a great time. Everything was fine.

Good experience with them! I will repeat

Our road trip was perfect thanks to the spaceships campervan. We had a really good experience. The drop off was easy and very nice. Thank you! We will hire again with spaceships.

Amazing experience, very good car and good service from the company ! Thanks

Very good car, best trip of my life, thanks you spaceships rentals

Love the experience. Will miss my travel buddy Gum Tree. The experience is very convenient and lovely way to see Cairns and Port Douglas.

Definitely recommend. The whole process was easy and the van was perfect for what I needed.

Great service, the car was in perfect condition and everything went super smoothly. I would highly recommend Spaceships to everyone!

Nice, enough to have a good and chill trip

We booked with spaceship rentals for our east coast drive , the car has everything you need! Super comfortable mattress, all cooking gear and utensils. A great car to travel in and sleep in . The design is really neat so everything is there but compact. We will definitely rent with them again!

The car was great the pic up and drip off were smooth and easy And the price just amazing best there is

Exceptional service, has everything you need, easy online booking service with detailed instructions, perfect travel Van

We’ve just finished an amazing road trip from Cairns to Brisbane with a Spaceships vehicle, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. I’ve always done routs like this in a campervan before, but this larger car completely changed my perspective. It was incredibly spacious and comfortable while being much easier to drive and park than a van. It gave us everything we needed for the trip without feeling bulky or cumbersome. I would definitely recommend this option. A special mention to Mat at the Brisbane branch. He was incredibly friendly and helpful during the drop-off process, and he kindly allowed us to return the vehicle a little later than the scheduled drop-off time, which helped us a lot. Thank you, Mat, for making the end of our trip so smooth and stress-free!

We had a fantastic experience with Spaceships Rentals in Cairns! We drove the Discovery campervan all the way from Brisbane to Cairns and it was honestly such a great adventure. The camper was compact but very practical, easy to drive and perfect for our roadtrip along the East Coast. Everything worked well and the whole process was smooth and stress-free. Would definitely recommend for anyone planning an Australian campervan trip!

Used Spaceships several times and I am a big fan! They definitely provide quality vehicles with working camping facilities. I used their competitor recently but returned the camper immeditely due to a faulty fridge - as we need a working fridge on our adventures - right?. I then went to Spaceships to get a replacement for my trip. Great service from the Spaceships Cairns depo! I'll be back - often!

My partner and I rented a camper van from Spaceships and the whole process was very smooth! Our van’s name is Dingo and we loved him all the way from Sydney to the Great Ocean Road and back to Melbourne. We had absolutely no issues, we could fit all of our stuff and even had some extra space. The bed was super comfy and we had everything we needed for cooking and resting. The pick up and drop off of the van were also really easy and straightforward. I would recommend these guys any day.

Had an amazing experience travelling from Cairns to Brisbane with Spaceships! The van really had everything we needed — having the mosquito net gave us extra space and made sleeping much more comfortable. The fridge and cooking setup were really nice and made the whole road trip super easy and enjoyable. The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the trip. Special thanks to Nemo for the great service! Would definitely recommend Spaceships for anyone planning an Aussie road trip.

We used the company to rent our vehicle “Georgie”, it was an amazing experience 2 weeks on the road from Brisbane to Melbourne and no issues at all! I definitely recommend using this company if you’re thinking of a road trip. They send very informative emails, they provided with all the essentials (for cooking and eating). The bed was easy to set up and very comfortable, the fridge was enough to keep some food and 2 cookers in case one wasn’t working!

Very quick and easy pick up car was great.

Did a relocation from Cairns to Sydney- wonderful experience! The car had everything we needed, was very comfortable and the company’s customer service was great. 10/10!

Great ride with crocodile dundee!

Everything went well, the car was great, just like the staff. Would recommend them!

Spaceships cars was amazing!!!! Cute car brought us all the way from brissy to cairns in one amazing piece! So many memories and laughter along the way ❤️

We had a great time in our spaceship. It was really easy to pickup and drop off. The vehicle is thoughtfully set out ready for adventures.

We lived in this van for a full month and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The van was super comfortable, reliable, and thoughtfully set up for long-term travel. Everything we needed was included — from the bed and kitchen setup to storage and little details that made daily life on the road easy and enjoyable. We drove long distances and never had any issues. It felt safe, cozy, and truly became our little home. Waking up in new places every day was magical thanks to this van. If you’re thinking about renting it, do it — you won’t regret it. Perfect for road trips and van life adventures. Highly recommend! 🚐✨

Nice trip with " Rocky "

Rented the Beta Standard Campervan for 6 days from Hobart, amazing way to see the island. No issues with the car whatsoever, staff at Spaceships very friendly and easygoing. The tank was full and they also provided us with 9L of drinking water on pick up which was a great touch. We drove roughly 1000k and filled the tank x3 - very economical petrol car. Bed was very comfortable, fridge was perfect, Bluetooth audio for road trip tunes. Would 100% recommend this company - great value for money and easy to drive.

We had an overall good experience with our budget spaceship. Unfortunately it had a few mechanical issues we have noticed once driving and too late to return it. Once arrived safely at destination we returned it 2 days earlier and could choose between another vehicle and refund of the 2 days. 1 if you choose the budget spaceship expect an old vehicle with all the inconvenience that goes with it 2 customer service and support exists and will help you if there is an issue 3 go for the adventure with the option that works best for you 4 problems can happen the most important is how you deal with them and spaceship deals like professionals

I was relocating a camper van from Cairns to Sydney with their stress-free insurance option ($0 excess liability) when I accidentally struck a kangaroo in the remote outback and crippled the engine. Spaceships got a tow company out to me within hours, and I got free transportation to Sydney the same day to catch my flight. Despite it being slightly after the drop-off deadline, I was charged no late fees (or any other fees for not being able to give it a car wash, finish cleaning all the dishes, etc.). And on top of that, I even got refunded my $100 holding deposit. Excellent service from a phenomenal company! Highly recommend!!

We did Melbourne-Cairns in a spaceship. Good service, nice car with a good size for both camping and city-driving. Good gas-economy.

Excellent trip with Spaceships! So comfortable and the agents are so kind and helpful, especially Mat on the phone.

We’ve had a great experience with Spaceships. The car was old but in great condition. We slept very well and the staff was super friendly. We definitely recommend it!

Spaceship Brisbane gave us a wondeful service! The car was clean and in order, pick up and drop off are easy too! The car came with lots of accessories. Special thanks to Mat for his amazing help and kindness. I recommand this company :)

We had an awesome 8 night trip in our spaceship. We got a 4 berth with a rooftop sleeper and it was pretty comfy and easy to put up and down. Van was well-equipped and great to drive. It was an older model of car (key start) but equipped with handy extras to bring it up to date (e.g. bluetooth audio connection, cup holders) Booking, pick up etc all good - very thorough communication - prepare to read through a few emails and do a little pre-trip planning in the last few days before pick up if you need to get away quickly. An option to take an extra ladder for the rooftop sleeper would be handy - for exit access from either side.

Vehicle in top condition - both mechanically and very clean. Friendly and helpful staffs on sites and call supports. Best rental car experiences ever

Grata experiencia, seriedad y profesionalidad garantizada.

10/10 experience with spaceships! Fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable journey! Matt & team have been so helpful in supporting our adventure :)))

I rented a van with spaceships to travel to Jervis bay and I had the best experience. From pick up to drop off everything went super smoothly. We felt very safe travelling and the staff was super friendly. The car was fuel efficient and I would travel with them again.
